The perpetrators of this senseless crime against me and their sycophants really started to pour on their dirty tricks and lies from the outset. Seems the 5+ main players had nothing better to do with their work time than to hold regular meetings and exchange emails and phone calls on how to play up the false sex harassment accusation for maximum emotional and dramatic effect.
To say that the nursing university's claim in their decision that the accuser Alice Yang was suffering "weeping, social withdrawal and depression" after allegedly being "touched on the waist" is beyond belief, common sense or logic would be a gross understatement. It was such an incredulous lie that I could hardly believe anyone outside of that small circle of immorality would fall for such unbridled nonsense...but as I was to gradually find out, in Taiwan almost nobody has a clue as to what sexual harassment or mental illness are or look like. Even among so-called mental health "specialists" in Taiwan, there are very few with any reliable experience or expertise in identifying or diagnosing those with real mental and/or emotional problems. The nursing university.
The nursing university did not use any QUALIFIED, INDEPENDENT or UNBIASED investigators to substantiate Alice Yang's false allegation or to follow up on the multitude of evidence I provided supporting my innocence. Nor did they ever provide any evidence of Alice's supposed "symptoms" of sexual harassment. It was merely what they said and accepted/regarded as an indisputable truth by the Gender (In)Equity Committee, the Ministry of Education, the Executive Yuan, the Taipei District Court and others.
For those in on the nursing university's ruse, or unable or unwilling to investigate the truth of their lies, claiming "weeping, social withdrawal, and depression" provided another convenient excuse for them to defy the accuser's and nursing university's lack of evidence and the truth.
In what was just a stroke of luck, one afternoon in September 2007 I happened to be on the Taiwan website Tealit.com and I stumbled on a personal ad placed by...Alice Yang! THIS is social withdrawal and depression?!
After copying and saving the ad, I emailed one of my former colleagues at the nursing university to inform her of the find (thinking that she would keep it confidential). Within 24 hours, the ad had mysteriously disappeared from Tealit...apparently a leak had reached Alice and she deleted the ad. WHY did she so hurriedly delete her personal ad?
